BIO:
I was an Intervention Assistant in the Reading First Project this past 2005-06 school year. Duties included, but not limited to, tutoring students in grades k-3 in various reading strategies based on DIBELS assessment tool.Students were progress monitored by team members and a prescription to secure positive feedback on Terra Nova Assessment tool was set in place.
In the past I have been with the Special Education Department in the capacity of Intervention Specialist for Early Childhood,chronological ages 3 to 5yrs.
I am currently taking courses to make a major curriculum change to Science and Math respectively.
I have been in the education field in numerous positions for the past 31 years, in private practices, East Cleveland City School, and The Cleveland Municipal Schools.
I am a widow, mother of two adult sons and a terrific 12yr. old grandson.
